Dr. Sarah Frisken is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School, and a research scientist at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She joined the Golby lab after successfully selling her software startup company, 61 Solutions, Inc., which created drawing software for professional artists. Dr. Frisken studies brain shift, and aims to investigate and develop new methods to improve precision in neurosurgery. She is drawn to the research challenges of NousNav and the vision of creating open source software and hardware design so that all may benefit. Dr. Frisken is an active researcher, advisor and mentor in NousNav and she supervises students working on the project.
