Dr. Alexandra Golby is a neurosurgeon, Director of Image Guided Neurosurgery, and Co-director of the Advanced Multi-Modality Image Guided Operating suite at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Her academic appointment is as Professor of Neurosurgery and Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. She has worked on translational research in image guided neurosurgery for over 20 years. Her goal is to develop tools which help neurosurgeons accomplish the most effective and safe surgeries. Dr. Golby started the NousNav project to bring useful technology to neurosurgeons and their patients all over the world. She leads a multidisciplinary team of researchers, scientists and engineers which span many areas of expertise to reach this goal.
